After a sudden breakup and before leaving for a seasonal job, Petar goes on a pre-paid couples’ vacation with his closest friend, Kristian. Instead of relaxing on the sunny coast, they face frustrations in a small tourist town that reminds them of the problems they were trying to escape – the breakup and Kristian’s recent loss of his father.

Recreational activities, local cuisine, hanging out with girls – absolutely nothing goes according to plan. Passed out drunk, Petar gets badly sunburned the first morning. To make matters worse, an unexpected third guest arrives – Petar’s ex, Dorotea.

Awkwardly crammed into a room meant for two, the trio decides on one final outing where the problems can no longer be ignored. At the end of an emotionally exhausting vacation, Petar returns to work as a better friend to Kristian, Dorotea, and himself.

Marko Bičanić

Marko Bičanić (Zagreb, 1999.) has been a member of the Blank_Film Incubator since 2013, which is where he made his first short films through high school. Now, as a graduating student of film directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, Marko works in various roles in film and television. He is one of the showrunners of the acclaimed Croatian comedy web series Videobox. Currently, he’s writing his first feature screenplay “Reservations”, which got funding for script development at the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.
